Not that I could have made any of the US gigs, but I'd love to see Reflections After Jane live. It seems like they play it at every London show I don't attend!

Just got home from the Minneapolis show... it was everything I could have hoped for, great venue, sounded amazing, a big audience who wanted to listen, two standing ovations... so I came away feeling totally elated, yet at the same time tonight I'm just sad - I can't help but feel that the curtain has just come down. Ah well.

I've been an enormous Clientele fan since I first heard "Reflections After Jane" about 3 years ago. Yes, I have everything that's available, I think, and even pestered my local record store to call me as soon as they received "Bonfires on the Heath." I just really, really dig the music. I saw the band at the Subterranean last time they swung through Chicago and can't wait for tonight's show. Unless I'm just completely taken in by hearing some of my favorite songs, I'll post the setlist here tomorrow. It's going to be a crazy night. St. Patrick's Day is insane here in Chicago and the venue is a college/upscale entertainment area. No green for me. Side note about the venue: It used to be a second-run art movie house called the Three Penny. I saw many, many movies there but one of the only ones that comes to mind is "Shadows & Fog", which seems apropos somehow.

Cheers.
